Project Introduction
A precise matrix of thirty-six luminous crystal columns gives a triple-height Singapore lobby a memorable centre, balancing monumental scale with clarity, rhythm and restrained champagne-gold detailing.
The Meridian Grand is envisioned as a study in measured verticality. Thirty-six crystal columns descend through the triple-height volume as an ordered field, giving the arrival sequence a clear identity without interrupting long views across the lobby.
The composition is designed on a six-by-six grid with subtle variation in suspension height and illumination. Clear elongated crystals and a fine champagne-gold frame create presence through repetition, proportion and controlled reflection rather than ornament.
Tall stone walls, broad glazing and generous circulation establish an international hospitality interior with strong architectural scale. The central void asks for a luminous landmark that can be understood immediately from the entrance, upper galleries and exterior approach.
The regular ceiling frame aligns with the lobby geometry while the suspended columns introduce depth below it. Warm internal light reveals each crystal profile, allowing the matrix to remain legible in daylight and become more dimensional as evening ambient levels fall.
