Oval Doha event hall beneath an eight-branch crystal botanical canopy

Project Introduction

The Vision

An eight-branch crystal canopy opens above an oval Doha event hall, combining botanical movement, pear-shaped drops and refined champagne-gold structure in a contemporary ceremonial composition.

The Orchid Pavilion is conceived as an abstract botanical canopy shaped for an oval room. Eight branching arms extend from a calm central structure, giving the ceiling a sense of growth, ceremony and radial movement without literal floral ornament.

Pear-shaped clear crystals gather along the branches in varied densities, catching light like suspended droplets. A restrained champagne-gold framework brings warmth and definition while keeping the composition contemporary and carefully engineered.

Architecture / 01

The Space

Softly curved walls and an oval plan establish a formal event interior with subtle Middle Eastern references. The central ceiling calls for a generous horizontal gesture that supports ceremonial use while preserving openness around the room’s perimeter.

Illumination / 02

Light in Architecture

The branching layout follows the geometry of the hall and draws attention toward its centre. Warm points of light pass through the crystal drops, creating layered reflections that remain balanced with perimeter lighting and flexible event scenes.
